Lopez Island is part of the San Juan Islands in northwestern Washington state.
About the size of Manhattan but worlds apart, Lopez is known as the friendly isle where everyone waves at passing cars.
You should know that there aren’t any bridges to the island so visitors arrive by ferry, private boat, or plane.
There is no end to the things you can do on Lopez Island.
Lopez had been a longtime favorite destination for bicyclists, and kayakers.
